Global clinical regulatory support
Connect clinical evidence, development strategy and the questions you need to resolve with regulatory authorities.
What this involves
- Clinical regulatory strategyThe question you need answered, the position you propose, and the evidence and assumptions that support it.
- Meeting preparationReview of briefing materials, sharpening of the questions, and a challenge session that rehearses the difficult exchanges.
- Dose, endpoint and population discussionsPositions on dose optimization, endpoints, single-arm versus randomized evidence and eligible populations, argued consistently across the plan.
- Submission contributionsClinical content for IND, NDA and BLA workstreams, including summaries, narratives and responses to agency questions.
- Alignment across regionsConsistent clinical content where several agencies are involved.
Why it matters in oncology
A briefing package can hold a great deal of data and still leave the proposed position hard to follow. Agencies respond to specific questions with a clear rationale, and vague questions tend to attract vague answers.
Oncology adds its own pressure points: dose optimization, the choice of endpoints, the adequacy of single-arm data and expedited pathways all call for a clinical position that is argued and coherent across the whole development plan.
When to involve us
- Preparing pre-IND, end-of-phase or other milestone meetings
- Reassessing dose strategy, endpoints, populations or the adequacy of a clinical evidence package.
- Reviewing a packagedrafted by another adviser.
- Developing clinical narratives and responsesfor an IND, NDA or BLA.
How we approach it
- Define what you need from the agency The decision you want, and the alternatives you can live with.
- Build the clinical position The rationale, evidence and stated uncertainties.
- Test it A challenge session in which we ask the questions a reviewer is likely to ask.
- Turn feedback into actions Link agency responses to development priorities and next steps.
What you receive
- A clinical position and question framework for agency discussion
- An annotated review of the briefing package or clinical content
- Preparation materials and a focused challenge session
- An action plan linking feedback to clinical development priorities
Working together
- StructureA focused clinical review, a meeting-preparation project or participation in a defined submission workstream alongside your regulatory lead.
- What we need from youThe development context, the planned interaction, available evidence, draft materials and any prior agency correspondence, shared through an agreed process.
- Roles and limitsClinical contributions are coordinated with regulatory affairs, biostatistics, safety, CMC and nonclinical specialists. Submission ownership, agency contact and the final position remain with the sponsor unless the engagement says otherwise.
Questions
Can you review a package drafted by another adviser?
Yes. An independent clinical review can test the logic, evidence and consistency of the package and help the team anticipate difficult questions.
Can the work cover more than one region?
Yes. We can align the clinical content across regions. Region-specific procedures and formats come from regulatory-affairs specialists.
